Detention Centers

There are Over 200 Immigrant Prisons and Jails in the United States

Over 70% of detained immigrants are held in private facilities which allows little transparency between the prisons and the government. The main complaints filed from these centers include medical and nutrition neglect and prolonged detention. The United States alone detains over 350,000 immigrants each year.
